	Ivey-Divey Don Byron Blue Note Usually ships in 24 hours Price: Under $15 Rating:	JazzWithBobParlocha.com's Editorial For openers, Don Byron is an amazing clarinet player, with a musical sense of humor that, in my mind, equals the sardonic wit of Sonny Rollins. "Ivey Divey" is mostly Don on clarinet, bass clarinet, and tenor saxophone, with Jason Moran on piano and the legendary Jack DeJohnette on drums. Trumpeter Ralph Alessi and bassist Lonnie Plaxico are on some of the tracks, but it's mostly the trio. There are some original compositions on the menu, but the meat of it for me is their fresh, exciting treatments of standards such as "I Want To Be Happy." This is close to the essence of the joy of jazz. -- Bob Parlocha
